Showed them my animatic, one final scene and some technique trial.
-Sound needs to be cracked
The voiceover needs to have certain qualities: impersonal, but with character, using intonation and stress effectively, clear, with more pauses, high energy level till the end.
About the script
-Edit Baptist Hospital to Govt. Or simply hospital
-Give the ‘authority’ an official sounding name.
-When the story begins, give some clue to it being an announcement.
-Maybe end with a zoom out > so it goes a full circle, from outer space to a closer view of our lives and out again
About the style
-The scene using putty stop motion isn’t gelling with the style for the rest of the animation. Try using coloured wire instead.
Meet again in a week after working on the style some more. The fine lines seem sterile, add tones.
The sound recorder comes back on the 22nd on this month, finish most of the animating by then.
