- In my research, one find was that people's perception of an alien is based on themselves but to call someone human an alien was a big insult. For eg, a girl with physical disability spoke of how she used to be shy and reserved but now has become more open and social. For her, an alien was backward and she defined that as someone 'a level behind being shy and reserved'. Mr. Ravindra said that I couldn't generalize based on one person. I need more such examples. And he asked if they themselves realized this connection they had made between themselves and their idea of an alien (If not, maybe you could show them).
